School is about learning and raising the standards in society by giving all children an education.

Our Core Beliefs and Values at Tenterfield High School include:

The SBAT program at Tenterfield High School aligns with the Core Beliefs and Values providing students the opportunity for achievement for their future through the integrated learning carried out while at school and in the workplace. School based apprenticeships and traineeships provide students with the opportunity to attain a nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification as well as their Higher School Certificate (HSC) and gain valuable work skills and experience through paid employment.

Tenterfield High School currently have a number of SBAT students  completing different areas of study. These students will attain their HSC as well as Certificates in Health, Construction, Business Sevices and Animal Studies.

Ideally students are signed up towards the end of their Year 10 studies providing 2 years to complete the days required in the workplace.
